We are seeking a skilled Garage Door Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in various maintenance person tasks. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining garage doors and their components, ensuring they operate smoothly and safely. The technician will work independently and as part of a team, providing high-quality service to our customers.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain garage doors and openers.
- Troubleshoot issues with garage door mechanisms and provide effective solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of garage doors.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all operations.
Skills
- Proficient in maintenance person tasks including glass installation, remodeling, door hanging, drywall work, and frame carpentry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Familiarity with locksmithing practices is a plus.
- Experience using power tools safely in various applications.
- Ability to weld is an advantage for certain repair tasks.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $24.19 - $30.00 per hour
